How to Get Sandile, Krokorok, and Krookodile in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Sandile, Krokorok, and Krookodile might not be huge fans of the game, but there are plenty of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players who are excited about catching one of Ash's most powerful Pokemon. The problem is that it's relatively difficult to actually track down this series of ground-type Pokémon. You can Buy Pokemon for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet at PKMBuy.
Where to Catch Sandile, Krokorok and Krookodile in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Pokemon Scarlet Violet players can find and capture Sandile in the western half of the Asado Desert. This is the area surrounding the Quaking Earth Titan boss fight. Neither Krokorok nor Krookodile have standard wild encounters, meaning players will need to evolve Sandiles themselves to reliably add them to their Pokedex.
Krokorok and Krookodile will not appear in Paldea as wild Pokémon. The only way to directly capture Sandiles without evolving them is to encounter them by chance during Tera Raid battles. The Krokorok has a chance to appear in four-star Tera Raid battles, while players who have unlocked five-star Tera Raid battles may find the Krookodile. The chances of finding any of these are pretty slim, making evolving Sandile the best option to complete this evolution line.
How to evolve Sandile into Krokorok and Krookodile
Sandile evolves into Krokorok by raising it to level 29. This isn't a particularly difficult challenge, as Sandile can be caught in the wild anywhere from level 15 to 33, depending on the region where the Pokémon is caught. Players may be able to find ones that only need to be upgraded once.
Krokorok evolves into Krookodile at level 40. The road from Krokorok to Krookodile isn't particularly long, and Krokorok isn't a particularly weak Pokémon relative to other Pokémon in this level range.
Is Krookodile a good Pokémon?
The Krookodile is a great addition to a player's team in a Pokemon Scarlet Violet story, but not as good in any other area. Pokemon has good abilities with Moxie and Intimidate and solid attack properties, but it has several key weaknesses.
The Krookodile has an embarrassing base speed stat of 92, which isn't fast enough to match the mighty Scavenger, but too fast for the Trick Room team. Making matters worse are impressive defensive stats combined with sub-par typing. While the Krookodile has no double weaknesses of any type, its mediocre defenses cannot withstand attacks from any of its six weaknesses. This makes it far from ideal in Trainer fights or Tera Raid fights, even if the player changes its Tera Type.
