Your Mower Blade Needs Sharpening
Every season, the blades of a lawnmower should be sharpened. A sharply-sharpened mower blade ensures accurate cuts every time, preventing grass blades from tearing. If a blade has large chips or cracks, replace it instead of sharpening it .
Alternatively, you can visit your local hardware store to sharpen the blades.
PLUGS NEED TO BE CHECKED
Spark plugs should be checked/changed once a year
Your mower will have trouble starting, waste fuel, and have choppy cuts if the spark plug is dirty or loose .
OIL CHANGE
Once a season, you should change your oil. Make sure you’re using the right kind of oil by consulting your homeowner’s manual.
Drain dirty oil and remove spark plugs before refilling
MOWER DECKS NEED TO BE CLEAN
The underside of the mower can accumulate grass clippings and caked-on dirt. Remove any stuck-on debris from the mower deck by flipping it over and power washing it. Prevent the spread of disease by regularly cleaning your mower deck throughout the season.

Lubricate all moving parts, including wheel bearings.
