Mannan oligosaccharide (MOS), also known as mannan oligosaccharide or glucomannan oligosaccharide, is a new type of antigenic activity extracted from yeast cell wall. It has good physical and chemical properties such as low heat, stability, safety and non-toxic. Mannan oligosaccharides extracted from yeast cell wall can withstand the high temperature treatment (121 鈩?for 20min) of feed processing to maintain the integrity of its structure and function. It is generally stable under physiological pH value and normal feed processing conditions, and is easily soluble in water and other polar solvents.
When mannan oligosaccharide is used as a feed additive in animal production, it has the functions of removing mold and preventing mold, adsorbing mycotoxin, and multiplying intestinal probiotics.
