Hello everyone!
Soo, this one is a stylized necropolis castle that was inspired by original design from Heroes of Might and Magic 3. I wanted to stay close as possible to the original shapes, but also cram in some details in certain places. Additionally i have tried to stay close with a original color palette, but i needed to increase the overall contrast between the things. Original necropolis felt a little tooo bleak for me and the stylized style.
1 Day - Gathering references (2-3h) then sorting them out in (PS), some basic blocking (blender)
2 Day - Modeling the thing, instancing some objects (blender)
3 Day - Still modeling (blender) and also started with the TRIM_1, UNQ_2 (substance)
4 Day - Mainly texturing now (substance), also started with sculpting the mountain
4.5 Day - So the baking mountain to LP, optimizing the thing, fixing some things, adding last details on UNQ_2 and DECAL_3
4.5-5.5 Day - Rendering in marmoset, adding a tessellation then fixing some errors that comes with it, color grading on the textures for that specific look also writing this thing up ;d
Pure technical stuff:
Verts - 28 171
Faces - 19 310
Tris/Polys - 38 778
Textures - 2k 4 materials (2 TRIMS and 2 UNQ)
