Adivi Sesh, who has made a name for himself with breathless action dramas like Kshanam and Goodachari, is back with another one. Evaru is a taut, smart crime thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout.
The story revolves around Sameera (Regina Cassandra) who is accused of murdering a cop who sexually assaulted her. She claims to have done it in self-defence but her lawyer (Vinay Varma) hires a corrupt police officer Vikram Vasudev (Adivi Sesh) to help her win the case.
Venkat Ramji is a confident writer, one who knows how to get his actors to portray characters that cannot be immediately defined as good or bad. His technical team – composer Sricharan Pakala, editor Gary BH and cinematographer Vamsi Patchipulusu – are on top of their game.
