It's possible that you consented to third-party websites and apps accessing your Facebook account in order to sign up for their service.

Facebook may be losing users these days, but for me, it's still the site to visit when I want to watch amusing animal videos or inspirational rescue stories.

You've come to the right place if you frequently log out of Facebook without warning. We have shared a few solutions in this article that you can use to stop Facebook from logging you out automatically. There are several reasons why facebook logged me out.

In this article, I will show you 7 ways how to fix this issue:

-Browser cookies clearing:

Invalid cookies may result in your logged-in browsing sessions on websites like Facebook expiring. You should delete the cookies from your browser to fix this. Visit Privacy, search, and services - Clear browsing data - Choose what to clear - Select "Cookies and other site data" to clear cookies on Edge.

-Delete the Facebook cache:

You might try clearing the app's cache if Facebook keeps logging you out of your phone. To access Facebook's App Info page, long-press the Facebook app in the app drawer and select "App Info." To clear Facebook's cache, navigate to "Storage cache" and select "Clear cache."

-Examine Sessions Active

It's possible that someone else has access to your account if you frequently sign out of Facebook. If you're unsure whether your account is signed in to a new device you're unfamiliar with, you can check your active Facebook sessions. Visit Settings - Security and login - Where you're logged in and search for unrecognized devices to check for active Facebook sessions. Change your Facebook password and remove any unknown devices you find.

-Examine the Third-Party Apps Connected

It's also a good idea to check your connected apps. It's possible that you consented to third-party websites and apps accessing your Facebook account in order to sign up for their service. Although this is not a problem when using trusted third-party integrations, using unreliable services could present a security risk. Go to Settings - Apps and websites to review your connected apps, then disable access to any services you don't recognize.

-Remove the ad blocker

Facebook sessions that have expired could also be caused by an incompatible ad blocker. To make sure that the ad blocker is not the cause of why Facebook is logging you out, you might try turning it off or logging in incognito mode. To avoid compatibility issues, you might also think about enabling Facebook in the ad blocker.

-Activate Auto-Login

Use Facebook's auto-login function if you want to keep your account logged in. When logging in, simply select the "Remember password" checkbox, and you're good to go. With this function, you can directly log in without entering a password by clicking your profile picture from the login screen. Although it is practical, make sure you are using it on your private computer and not a system that you share with others.

-Facebook app update

If none of the suggestions worked, you might try updating the Facebook app to see if a recent update is the cause of your account's log-out. Access the Facebook app's page on the Play Store and App Store to update the app. If the update didn't resolve the issue, you might also try uninstalling and reinstalling Facebook.
