• Lord Rama is the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu, who killed Ravana and his army. Along with this, this day also celebrates the victory of Goddess Durga over the demon Mahishasura.

• This festival represents the constant battle between good and evil that exists within every person not only physically but also mentally and emotionally.

• The festival of Dussehra is celebrated with a great deal of excitement and ritual. In North India, it involves Ram Leela, a grand dramatic enactment of the life story of Ram.
