Wedding lehenga for women
‘Chitralekha’ lehenga and ‘Prabha’ blouse in Varanasi silk brocade feature weave that is drawn from our textile archives, made using the elaborate Kadwa technique, where each motif is woven separately in a ‘jangla’ pattern. It has a play of Meenakari on the trellis of flowers, inspired by printed textiles such as kalamkari chintz depicting flora and fauna. Shivani pairs it with sheer organza ‘Unnao’ odhani with all-over hand-embroidered Mughal leaf ‘jaal’ and kiran along the border.
This set includes lehenga and blouse.
