Serkan Altay was the Director of Investments at Victoria Foundation, where he was involved in shaping the foundation's portfolio into alternative investments such as private, infrastructure funds, long volatility products and a portfolio of impact investing opportunities. Serkan was also in charge of manager searches and provided new ideas for shaping the foundation's investment portfolio in order to better align the foundation's investment objectives with its granting initiatives. This involved divesting from a number of industries that ran contrary to the foundation's stated aim of providing support for the community of Greater Victoria.
In his role at Rally Assets, Serkan was managing a global equity impact fund as well as a multi class impact fund that included additional asset classes such as private debt and equity as well as direct investments.
