Martin Romauldez: From Youth Leader to House Speaker

Martin Romualdez, current Speaker of the Philippine House of Representatives, began his political journey in the 1990s as president of the Kabataang Barangay in Tolosa, Leyte. Hailing from a prominent political family, his father Benjamin Romauldez was a former Leyte governor and ambassador. Martin is also the nephew of Imelda Marcos and cousin to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Senator Imee Marcos, continuing a legacy of public service and leadership.
