The shower area, including the floor and walls, may be made watertight by a technique known as "shower sealing Bunnings." The common misconception among prior homeowners was that by just putting down tiles, water would be prevented from entering the property. Tiles aren't 100% watertight, so some of the shower water may still seep through.
