Sitting here, sipping my coffee, I can’t help but wonder about something that’s been on my mind lately. As the CEO of an online IQ testing platform and analytics center, I’ve spent years analyzing intelligence trends. According to data, the average IQ worldwide has been rising steadily. Just look at our global IQ ranking by country ( https://www.worldiqtest.com/average-iq )—it’s fascinating!
But here’s the thing: doesn’t it feel like people, in general, are acting less thoughtfully, less curious, and, dare I say, less intelligent? Is it just me?
Are we confusing knowledge with intelligence? Could it be that while IQ scores go up, other critical aspects of wisdom—like empathy, decision-making, or critical thinking—are being left behind?
Or maybe it’s the overwhelming noise of social media and constant distractions that make us feel like humanity is slipping?
And what about education systems? Are they truly preparing us to think deeply or just training us to pass tests?
If you’ve ever wondered about your own intelligence, why not try a few sample questions from our test? Check out some examples on our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@WorldIQTest. You might surprise yourself!
I’d love to hear your thoughts on this. Do you think we’re becoming smarter as a species—or losing something in the process? Drop a comment and let’s discuss!
