Next, you'll need to remove the extractor. Hold the slide upside down and use a punch to press down on the extractor plunger. With your other hand, slide the extractor out from the side of the slide.

Finally, remove the 80-lower spring and barrel from the slide. To do this, push the barrel slightly forward and then lift it up and out of the slide. The 80-lower spring can be easily removed by pushing it out of its housing in the slide.
