Go to Lumbridge Swamp and locate a group of adventurers that includes a archer, warrior and a monk sitting around a campfire, near Father Urhney's home. Speak to the warrior and ask him about what is going on. If he does not want to talk to you, askhim:
1. Why are you camped in this area?
2. What's your take on why you think that this is the case?
3. If it's hidden, how are you going to locate it?
4. Looks like you don't know either.
The leprechaun's tree
Look for a swamp tree to the east of the camp. The first tree is in the west, to the west of the Father Urhney's residence. The tree is easily identified, as this is the one tree to have an option "Chop Swamp Tree" instead of "Chop down Swamp tree". Chop the tree and a leprechaun known as Shamus jumps out. Ask Shamus how to reach Zanaris and he informs you that you need a dramen staff. To get this the staff, you'll need to cut down a tree inside of the Entrana Dungeon, and at the conclusion of the conversation the man offers to bring your onto the Port Sarim docks.
Entrana enforces a policy of non-aggression, which means that weapons such as armour, combat armor and other magical items can't be taken onto Entrana. However it is possible to bring the essential ingredients to create arms and weapons, like dragonleather or leather and thread along with bowstrings and logs to make ranged gear; batwing, spider silk and mystic thread for making a wand. Other useful items to bring include ammo like arrows and runes, which can be taken on Entrana that have already been made, costumes like monk priest, monk, Citharede or druid for prayers, potions, food, an emergency teleport as well as a the ring of life. Click here for a complete list of items that are allowed.
Pick up your preferred items and head to Port Sarim, talk to the monks at the dock, and travel to Entrana. Don't make your purchases yet; You will be scrutinized and disqualified from being allowed to board the ship.
When you are off from the vessel at Entrana, make and equip your armour and weapon, take a left turn, then run north past the temple and west after the bridge. A monk will be found next to a cave's entry point. The equipment made here will not cause expulsion from the mainland.
When you get down the cave the only way out is through an entrance that is located south towards Draynor Village. When you are ready, speak to the monk before entering the cave. After entering the dungeon your prayer is reduced by 100-400 points.
Go through the cave until you see some greater demons, and a cave that is to the south. The demons will be able to escape into this cave and cut down the dragon tree with your hatchet.
A Level 63 Dramen tree spirit appears. It is possible to attack the spirit of the tree, however it hits at up to 200 times with accuracy and absorbs the majority of melee attacks, so plenty of food items, including lobster, is advised. There is a safe area on the southern wall, between three mushrooms, from where you can find a trap and then attack her, while returning to the safe area to avoid being damaged. This spirit of the tree is susceptible to fire spells. So using the Fire Bolt spell or above should be performed using an imp horn wand, spider wand, batwing wand as well as mystic wand. Runes of lower levels can be found in Port Sarim on the way to Entrana.
If the fight takes longer than it should, tree spirit returns to the tree and fully recovers.
It is also possible to have multiple people attack the tree spirit.
Once the tree spirit is defeated then cut the tree to get a dramen branch. Craft the dramen branch to make a dramen staff. If you are planning to do Recipe for Disaster: Freeing Sir Amik Varze, you will have to grind an dramen tree for Sir Amik Varze.
To begin your quest, head towards the southwest from Father Urhney's house until you come across a camp site with several adventures. Contact the Warrior to choose the options which challenge his authority. He will eventually inform you that they're in search of a leprechaun which can assist them in finding the missing cities of Zanaris.
Continue walking to the to the west of the camp and try to chop down the swamp with the option of 'chop tree. A Leprechaun named Shamus will appear, speak to them and ask for directions to the lost cities of Zanaris. He will tell you that you'll need to get a special staff that can be created using a dramen branch for entry into the city. You'll discover that there is a Dramen tree located on Entrana After you've spoken to the leprechaun he will suggest that you teleport to the Port Sarim's docks. If you've got all required items finish the quest you can accept the teleport if not bank.
Ask any of the monks at the Port Sarim dock and after some quick searches, they will allow you to take a trip to Entrana. Since the monks are forbidden to carry the use of weapons or armor in Entrana, you have to bring unfinished combat gear in order to take on the level 63 tree spirit.
Once you have arrived on Entrana Head northeast and pass through the church. Finally, proceed across the bridge to the northern part of the island. You can try to climb the ladder here, however a Cave Monk will stop you and warn that you should be cautious in case you fall since there's no way to climb to the top of the ladder, on top of that the benefits of praying are greatly diminished once you've gone down. Inform your Cave Monk that you are willing to risk it, climb into the ladder.
After that, take the trail that passes through level 29 Zombies until you spot an entire group of level 82 Greater demons. South of these Greater demons is a cave which includes the Dramen tree in it so run there. Create any armor or weapons prior to attempting to cut the tree. Once ready, cut the tree and an 63 level Dramen Tree Spirit appears. If using Ranged or Magic attack methods you must stand in the middle of the mushroom in the south area of the cave and kill the Tree Spirit but without inflicting damage from it.
If the Tree Spirit is not killed quick enough, the tree will disintegrate and you'll need to chop the tree again to start the fight again.
After the Tree Spirit has been killed and the tree is cut down, you can chop the Draman tree to get the Dramen branch. Once you have it, transform the branch into the shape of a Dramen staff. It is recommended to make two in the event that you lose your Dramen staff.
Head back towards the Lumbridge swamp using this Lumbridge lodestone teleport technique. Go to the shed north-east of the campsite. With the adventures and put on the Dramen staff, and then go inside the shed to be teleported and gain access to the lost Zanaris city. Zanaris. Congratulations!
