Kathmandu is a city of many sights. In fact, if you're only in town for a few days, it's hard to see it all! But as the best tour company in Kathmandu, we want to make sure that you don't miss out on some of the best sights in Nepal's capital city and its surrounding areas.

The Durbar Square

This is one place that you won't want to miss! The Durbar Square is located in the heart of Kathmandu, and it is home to several temples, palaces and other buildings that have been there since ancient times. You can also find many shops selling souvenirs here as well!

Pashupatinath Temple

This temple is one of the most important Hindu temples in all of Nepal. It is dedicated to Shiva, who is said to be the god of destruction but also creation and renewal. The temple itself dates back more than 1,000 years and contains many statues representing different gods and goddesses from Hindu mythology. The Pashupatinath Temple itself sits on a riverbank, which makes it very beautiful during sunrise or sunset when reflection off water creates a beautiful rainbow effect on walls inside temple.

Swayambhunath Temple:

For those who like their history with a little bit of mystery and maybe even a little bit of supernatural spice, there's another option: Swayambhunath Temple. This temple has been around so long that no one really knows exactly how old it is—some estimates say as much as 2,000 years old! It has been rebuilt multiple times over its lifetime; today, it looks like a mix between Hinduism and Buddhism (which may explain why it's so hard to pin down an exact date for its construction).

Manakamana Temple:

Located about an hour outside of Kathmandu, this temple offers some great views over Harisiddhi River Gorge from its terraces. You can hike up or take a cable car ride up there—either way, it'll be worth it! The views from above are just incredible!

Take A River Cruise Through Kathmandu Valley:

There are a lot of things to do in Kathmandu, but we think the best experience you can have is a river cruise through the Kathmandu Valley.

It's a great way to see some of the best sights in Kathmandu, including Pashupatinath Temple and Bhaktapur Durbar Square. But more than that, it's an opportunity to sit back and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature and get lost in your thoughts as you drift down the river.
