Michael Yelverton is a music educator from Goldsboro, North Carolina with over 20 years of experience as a worship leader and director. Michael's voice has been heard across the United States and around the world. He is internationally recognized as an accomplished worship leader, songwriter, and gospel artist. His resounding voice has captivated audiences for many years.

Propelled by a heart-filled desire to share the Gospel through singing, Michael Yelverton is a vibrant and energetic singer who loves an audience. He has traveled throughout the Southeast leading worship with local churches and ministering in prisons, colleges, and festivals.

Musical excellence is the goal of Michael Yelverton. His primary instrument is the trombone, and he has performed with many of North Carolina's finest bands and orchestras. He is a member of the North Carolina Music Educators Association, has served as a Performing Arts Contest Judge for North Carolina, is a member of the Board of Education for the Piedmont District Music Educators Association, and has served as a music adjudicator for the State Music Competition. His creative talents have been used in the teaching of beginning Band Instrumental Instruction; and through his many musical compositions that he conducts, directs.
