Board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, he also maintains certification as an emergency medical technician (EMT) and in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS).

Throughout his education and career, Dr. Naval Parikh has repeatedly stood out for his involvement with and dedication to various fields. A recipient of a dean’s scholarship at Tulane University Law School, he also won the Bronze Key Award from the American Bar Association. Moreover, Dr. Naval Parikh served as a volunteer instructor for middle school children and the treasurer of the Tulane Law School Student Body Association. While studying at MUSC, he earned both a dean’s and student government scholarship. Further, he served as a research assistant in MUSC’s Department of Pediatrics Oncology.
