Robilant Voena Gallery is in legal trouble after allegedly failing to return a valuable artwork by Philippe Pastor, consigned for the Paris+ Art Basel 2022 fair. The lawsuit, filed in New York federal court by collector Carlo Palli, claims that Robilant Voena Gallery breached their consignment agreement and unlawfully withheld the painting. Pastor, known for his nature-inspired art using ash, leaves, and fire, had consigned the piece specifically for the event.
