FAME Policy for Electric Vehicles
The Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Electric Vehicles (FAME) policy drives India's electric vehicle (EV) sector. Implemented by the Department of Heavy Industries, FAME I launched in 2015, followed by FAME II in 2019.
