🌕✨ Blood Moons, Prophecy & New Age Deceptions ✨🌕

Whenever a blood moon appears, New Agers rush to assign spiritual meaning to it. Some call the full moon a time to “release negativity” and the new moon a time to “manifest dreams.” Sadly, even some Christians get caught up in the hype—claiming that every eclipse is a prophetic sign.

But what does the Bible say?

📖 Genesis 1:14 – “And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years.”
👉 The moon was created to mark time—not to be worshiped.

📖 2 Kings 17:16 – “And they left all the commandments of the LORD their God, and made them molten images… and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served Baal.”
👉 Israel fell into judgment because they bowed down to created lights.

📖 Deuteronomy 4:19 – “And beware lest you lift up your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun and the moon and the stars, all the host of heaven, you be drawn away and bow down to them and serve them…”
👉 God warned His people not to turn from the Creator to the creature.

📖 Joel 2:31 – “The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come.”
👉 This is not describing regular eclipses we see often, but cataclysmic signs during the Day of the Lord’s judgment.

📖 Jeremiah 10:2 – “Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.”
👉 God’s people are not to fear or idolize heavenly signs.

A blood moon is simply a natural lunar eclipse. It’s not mystical. It’s not a prophetic fulfillment. To claim otherwise lowers the seriousness of God’s true judgment to the level of routine astronomy.

Instead of looking to the moon for guidance or power, let us look to Jesus Christ—the true Light of the world.

📖 John 8:12 – “Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”

📖 Psalm 121:2 – “My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.”

📖 Psalm 19:1 – “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.”

🙌 The heavens don’t exist for us to worship them—they exist to point us back to the One who made them.

Tentang

In Christianity, Jesus is the Son of God and in mainstream Christian denominations he is the incarnation of God the Son, the second person in the Trinity. He is believed to be the Jewish messiah (the Christ) who is prophesied in the Hebrew Bible, which is called the Old Testament in Christianity. It is believed that through his crucifixion and subsequent resurrection, God offered humans salvation and eternal life, that Jesus died to atone for sin to make humanity right with God.
